AI Voice API Pricing in India: Cost per Minute, Setup and Integration
A practical India-focused guide to AI Voice API pricing, including per-minute charges, setup, telephony, integrations and realistic monthly cost examples.
AI Voice API Pricing in India: Cost per Minute, Setup and Integration
AI Voice API pricing can look simple—one number per minute—but a production bill may combine the voice platform, speech and language models, telephony, phone numbers, integrations, support and taxes. Indian businesses should compare the fully loaded cost of a completed workflow, not only the cheapest advertised minute.
This guide separates verified public facts from planning assumptions. Prices and inclusions can change, so recheck the linked vendor pages before procurement.
The short answer
As verified on 28 September 2026, Trikon’s public AI Voice page lists pay-as-you-go pricing at ₹4 per live call minute, no monthly subscription and no setup fee. The page also lists unlimited agents, inbound and outbound calls, CRM integrations, live transfer and analytics. Treat that as Trikon’s current public positioning, subject to the current site and contract.
Other providers use different structures. Bolna’s official documentation says its total combines voice processing, telephony and a platform fee, with model choice affecting the variable cost. Exotel’s public pricing page directs buyers to flexible or custom plans rather than showing one universal AI Voice rate.
That is why two offers with the same headline rate may not cover the same service.
Seven components of total AI Voice API cost
- 1. Voice AI platform: orchestration, agent runtime, prompts, tools, logs and analytics.
- 2. Speech and model usage: speech recognition, the language model and speech synthesis—or a native speech-to-speech model.
- 3. Telephony: inbound or outbound call minutes, destination rates and any second leg created by a human transfer.
- 4. Number rental: a virtual number, SIP trunk, caller ID or other regulated telecom resource.
- 5. Setup and integration: CRM fields, calendars, payment systems, webhooks, knowledge sources and security review.
- 6. Operations: monitoring, prompt tuning, evaluation, recordings, storage, alerts and human escalation.
- 7. Taxes and commercial terms: GST, minimum commitments, expiry of prepaid credits and volume tiers.
A practical comparison worksheet
Ask every vendor to fill the same worksheet: billable-minute definition; platform rate; included models; telephony rate; phone-number fee; setup fee; minimum commitment; concurrency; transfer charges; recording and storage; support; GST; and overage policy.
Also record whether the product covers your actual workflow. A lead-qualification deployment should be compared against the requirements in AI Voice Agent for Lead Qualification; a real-estate deployment should include CRM updates and site-visit booking described in the real-estate guide.
Realistic monthly cost examples
The following are arithmetic examples, not quotations. Using Trikon’s currently displayed ₹4 per live call minute as the variable rate, 1,000 live minutes equals ₹4,000 before GST; 5,000 minutes equals ₹20,000; and 20,000 minutes equals ₹80,000. If your contract introduces custom services or third-party costs, add them separately.
Outbound planning should use connected minutes, not attempted calls. Example: 10,000 dial attempts with a 30% connection rate and a three-minute average connected duration produce 9,000 connected minutes. At ₹4 per live minute, the variable amount would be ₹36,000 before GST. This is only a scenario; actual connection rate and duration must come from a pilot.
For inbound support, include transferred calls. If 5,000 AI minutes lead to 500 human transfers, price both the AI duration and any additional telephony or contact-centre leg specified in the contract.
Setup cost: when zero is realistic—and when it is not
A standard self-serve agent using a website or FAQ, an available phone number and a common CRM connector may need little paid implementation. A custom deployment can require data mapping, private APIs, consent flows, payment logic, role-based access, testing and rollout support.
Do not hide this work inside a vague platform rate. Separate reusable product functionality from one-time professional services, define acceptance criteria, and clarify who maintains each integration after launch.
Price is not the same as value
Measure cost per successful outcome: qualified lead, completed booking, resolved support request, confirmed payment promise or correctly routed call. A cheap agent that repeats itself, fails on Indian names or cannot complete CRM actions creates rework.
For Indian-language calls, test code-switching, accents, business terms, noisy phone audio and numeric details. Include task completion, transfer rate, caller drop-off, latency and correction rate in the pilot scorecard.
Questions to ask before signing
- What exactly starts and stops a billable minute, and how is rounding handled?
- Are STT, LLM and TTS costs bundled? Which models are included?
- Are telephony, number rental, transfers, recordings and storage included?
- Is pricing different for inbound, outbound, international or Indian-language calls?
- What are the minimum commitment, concurrency limit and volume tiers?
- Who pays for failed calls, voicemail, silence and retries?
- What setup, integration, tuning and support are included in writing?
How Trikon positions its offer

Frequently asked questions
- How much does an AI Voice API cost in India?
- The total depends on the voice platform, telephony, models, call duration, integrations and support. Trikon’s public Voice page currently lists ₹4 per live call minute, pay as you go, with no subscription or setup fee. Always verify the current page before budgeting.
- Is telephony included in an AI Voice API price?
- It varies. Some vendors bundle telephony; others bill it separately or let you bring your own provider. Ask whether number rental, inbound and outbound minutes, recording, transfer legs and taxes are included.
- What setup costs should I expect?
- A self-serve standard workflow may have no setup fee. Custom CRM, ERP, payment, scheduling, security or data-migration work can create one-time integration costs. Require a written scope.
- How should I compare per-minute plans?
- Compare the same definition of a billable minute and include platform, speech models, telephony, number rental, transfers, support and taxes. Then test task success, not only the headline rate.
- What is the best way to estimate monthly cost?
- Use connected minutes multiplied by the all-in variable rate, then add recurring fixed fees and amortised one-time work. Run low, expected and high-volume scenarios and include human-handled exceptions.
